Chuck E. Cheese! V roce 1979 Atari pokra\u010dovalo v na&scaron;l&aacute;pnut&eacute;m trendu a vydalo dal&scaron;&iacute;ch&nbsp;12 her, kter&eacute; se op\u011bt setkaly s &uacute;sp\u011bchem. Ve\u0159ejnost hry p\u0159ijala velmi kladn\u011b&nbsp;a uk&aacute;zalo se, \u017ee&nbsp;Atari 2600 bylo schopn&eacute; zvl&aacute;dnout lep&scaron;&iacute; hry, ne\u017e jak&eacute; vyv&yacute;jelo samo Atari. Atari vydalo dom&aacute;c&iacute; verzi hry&nbsp;Asteroids, kter&aacute; pro n\u011bj byla dal&scaron;&iacute;m obrovsk&yacute;m &uacute;sp\u011bchem. Inspirov&aacute;na &uacute;sp\u011bchem&nbsp;Activisionu, vznikla dal&scaron;&iacute; v&yacute;voj&aacute;\u0159sk&aacute; spole\u010dnost s n&aacute;zvem Imagic. Ta ale a\u017e do roku 1982 nevydala \u017e&aacute;dnou hru. V Texasu byla zalo\u017eena dal&scaron;&iacute; spole\u010dnost Games by Apollo a je&scaron;t\u011b toho roku vydala n\u011bkolik her. <\/p>\n<p> Coleco vstoupilo na trh v roce 1982 vyd&aacute;n&iacute;m sv&eacute; graficky vysp\u011blej&scaron;&iacute; konzole Colecovision. V reakci na tuto novou konzoli&nbsp;Atari vyrobilo&nbsp;5200, syst&eacute;m na srovnateln&eacute; &uacute;rovni.&nbsp;2600 ztratila&nbsp;$100 na cen\u011b aby z\u016fstala konkurence schopn&aacute;. Pak spole\u010dnost jm&eacute;nem&nbsp;Arcadia vydala periferii s n&aacute;zvem&nbsp;Supercharger, kter&aacute; p\u0159ehr&aacute;vala hry z&nbsp;audiokazety. Nakonec byl tento probl&eacute;m vy\u0159e&scaron;en, kdy\u017e&nbsp;Atari povolilo&nbsp;third party v&yacute;robu v&yacute;m\u011bnou za licen\u010dn&iacute; poplatky. Dokonce existovala i spole\u010dnost, kter&aacute; vydala s&eacute;rii tzv. X-Rated (nemravn&yacute;ch :)) her pro&nbsp;2600 nazvan&yacute;ch&nbsp;Mystique. Tento rok byl pro Atari &uacute;sp\u011b&scaron;n&yacute;, ale zd&aacute;lo se, \u017ee je na trhu p\u0159ebytek software. I kdy\u017e po\u0159&aacute;d vznikalo hodn\u011b kvalitn&iacute;ch titul\u016f, zvy&scaron;oval se po\u010det rychlokva&scaron;k\u016f, proto\u017ee se v&yacute;robci sna\u017eili&nbsp;r&yacute;\u017eovat pen\u011bz kolik se jen dalo. <\/p>\n<p>Do vlaku nasko\u010dily dal&scaron;&iacute; spole\u010dnosti v roce&nbsp;1983. Zimag, Ultravision, Amiga a dal&scaron;&iacute; vyr&aacute;b\u011bli hry a p\u0159&iacute;slu&scaron;enstv&iacute;. Zd&aacute;lo se, \u017ee je na trhu a\u017e moc v&yacute;robk\u016f sna\u017e&iacute;c&iacute;ch se uspokojit popt&aacute;vku a jak se z&aacute;hy uk&aacute;zalo, bylo tomu tak. Koncem roku za\u010daly spole\u010dnosti krachovat. US Games, Data Age, Games by Apollo, Telesys a dal&scaron;&iacute; museli ukon\u010dit svou existenci kv\u016fli slab&yacute;m prodej\u016fm. Nastal velk&yacute; videohern&iacute; krach a v&scaron;echny spole\u010dnosti to poci?ovaly na vlastn&iacute; k\u016f\u017ei. <\/p>\n<p> Rok&nbsp;1984 byl pro Atari 2600 rokem stagnace a jeho cena klesla na $40-$50. Mnoho lid&iacute; tehdy tvrdilo, \u017ee videohern&iacute; pr\u016fmysl je mrtv&yacute;. Nicm&eacute;n\u011b&nbsp;Atari v&scaron;echny&nbsp;p\u0159ekvapilo ohl&aacute;&scaron;en&iacute;m v&yacute;roby Atari 7800 a nav&iacute;c sl&iacute;bilo v&iacute;c her pro&nbsp;2600 s lep&scaron;&iacute; grafikou a zvukem. Bohu\u017eel se tak ale v roce 1984 nestalo, proto\u017ee Atari prodalo svou videohern&iacute; divizi&nbsp;Jacku Tramielovi, kter&yacute; v\u011b\u0159il, \u017ee videohern&iacute; syst&eacute;my budou nahrazeny dom&aacute;c&iacute;mi po\u010d&iacute;ta\u010di. Toho roku u\u017e nebyla o 2600 ani 7800 \u017e&aacute;dn&aacute; dal&scaron;&iacute; zm&iacute;\u0148ka&nbsp;a vypadalo to, \u017ee jsou mo\u017en&aacute; mrtv&eacute;. <\/p>\n<p> 1985 byl pro Atari a videohry obecn\u011b, dal&scaron;&iacute;m klidn&yacute;m rokem&nbsp;a na 2600 vy&scaron;lo jen n\u011bkolik her. Activision vydal&nbsp;Cosmic Commuter a Ghostbusters, ale kv\u016fli mal&eacute; reklam\u011b se tyto hry neprod&aacute;valy moc dob\u0159e. Atari se rozhodlo, \u017ee by mo\u017en&aacute; nebylo od v\u011bci vypustit na trh&nbsp; 7800, kter&eacute; m\u011blo na sklad\u011b a vyrobit je&scaron;t\u011b n\u011bjak&eacute; hry pro 2600.&nbsp;7800 bylo vyd&aacute;no zpo\u010d&aacute;tku s poh&yacute;mi t\u0159emi hrami, i kdy\u017e bylo kompatibiln&iacute; i s hrami pro 2600. Tak&eacute; p\u0159ed\u011blali design&nbsp;2600 na&nbsp;2600 Jr., konzoli se stejn&yacute;mi vlastnostmi, ale nov&yacute;m vzhledem a reklamn&iacute; kampan&iacute;. Prod&aacute;vala se za cenu pod&nbsp;$50.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p> V roce 1987 se tak videohry&nbsp;znovu za\u010daly neuv\u011b\u0159iteln\u011b dob\u0159e prod&aacute;vat. Atari pokra\u010dovalo v produkci t\u011bchto konzol&iacute; a\u017e do roku&nbsp;1989, ale bylo z\u0159ejm&eacute;, \u017ee&nbsp;2600 uveden&eacute; na trh p\u0159ed v&iacute;c ne\u017e desetilet&iacute;m, u\u017e bylo definitivn\u011b u konce s dechem. I kdy\u017e se st&aacute;le vyr&aacute;b\u011blo a prod&aacute;valo mimo USA, v Americe&nbsp;Atari 2600 zakon\u010dilo svou pou?. \u017d&aacute;dn&aacute; jin&aacute; konzole nem\u011bla tak dlouhou historii a neprod&aacute;vala se v USA tolik, jako Atari 2600. <\/p>\n<p> Dnes m&aacute; Atari 2600 po\u0159&aacute;d po\u010detn&eacute; mno\u017estv&iacute; fanou&scaron;k\u016f, kte\u0159&iacute; si pamatuj&iacute; na nezpo\u010det her, kter&eacute; na n\u011bm hr&aacute;li v pr\u016fb\u011bhu v&scaron;ech t\u011bch let. Dokonce na n\u011bj vznikaj&iacute; hry od nad&scaron;enc\u016f, n\u011bkter&eacute; z nich velmi profesion&aacute;ln\u011b proveden&yacute;ch, vydan&yacute;ch na nov&yacute;ch kartrid\u017e&iacute;ch s potiskem a n&aacute;vodem.
